Located at the Changle Hot Spring Resort in Yunnan, China, this innovative project redefines the resort experience. Mooton has expertly transformed the existing hot spring area into a 600-square-meter composite hot spring aqua park. By leveraging the region's premium natural hot spring resources and integrating high-quality aqua park equipment, we brought to life a unique destination centered on the core philosophy of "Enhancing Water Fun with Hot Springs, Blending Nature with Joy."
This successful upgrade has evolved a traditional hot spring zone into a distinctive cultural and tourism space that combines thermal water recreation, wellness, and family interaction, significantly boosting the hotel's appeal and broadening its customer base.
Our design was guided by three key principles: All-Ages Appeal, Immersive Experience, and Ecological Harmony. We aimed to create a space where every family member finds their own joy. This was achieved by skillfully merging the therapeutic benefits of natural hot springs with the thrilling fun of a water park. Utilizing durable and engaging aqua park equipment ensures a safe and enjoyable water play environment with comfortably warm, pristine water. Furthermore, the landscape is artfully designed with rockeries and lush greenery, allowing guests to feel a deep sense of relaxation and connection with nature during their visit.
The park's layout is clearly zoned into three complementary areas, each featuring purpose-built aqua park equipment:
● Interactive Family Splash Zone: This area is centered around colorful, whimsically designed water play features and interactive aqua park equipment. The constant, warm, and clean thermal water provides a perfectly safe and delightful aquatic play space for young children and their families.
● Thrilling Waterslide Zone: Catering to teens and adults seeking excitement, this zone features dynamic aqua park equipment including spiral and enclosed body slides. Integrated with artificial rockwork, it creates a challenging and exploratory adventure.
● Serene Hot Spring Soaking Pools: For post-fun relaxation, this area offers a variety of themed hot spring pools. It allows guests to unwind and soothe their muscles, completing the perfect cycle from dynamic entertainment to static wellness, all within one cohesive environment.
